What to do and When

Calling on my 35 years of experience and knowledge I will assess your strengths and weaknesses to devise for you the optimum programme or training mix of endurance, speed, strength and flexibility to fit with your lifestyle and time commitments.
Communicating via the Train Heroics app or whatever means suits you, I can provide you with timely feedback, monitor your daily and weekly progress and answer any questions or dilemmas you may have. I’ll adapt and adjust your training, taking into account your progress and ‘readiness to train’ to make sure you get the most out of your running.

Active Training Sessions
How to do It

An active training session is an ideal opportunity to work on technique. Being with, and seeing a runner in action allows me, the coach, to spot and correct inefficiencies. The ‘coaching eye’ can offer great insight into how you can improve.
A coached training session can be a time to help you work harder or slow you down, in order to maximise the gains from the session. It can also be a good time to assess your progress, discuss aspects such as the mental approach or chat about how the session went.

Workshops,  Lectures & Group Discussions

A little bit of knowledge is a great thing. Lectures, workshops, group discussions or practical sessions are an opportunity to learn about and discuss running related topics with a group of fellow runners. These can be arranged and delivered on a ‘topic by demand’ basis. What I offer will give you both inspiration and practical assistance to help you move onwards and upwards.
